We are currently seeking a Butler who will work for an individual. The ideal candidate for the Butler position must possess a unique blend of organization, efficiency, and independent problem-solving skills. They will work closely with a highly demanding individual in the hotel and lodging industry, providing both administrative and household support.
The role encompasses a diverse range of responsibilities, from scheduling appointments and managing communications to overseeing household staff and coordinating with service providers. The Personal Assistant must be highly organized, able to effectively manage their time, and able to prioritize tasks to ensure everything runs smoothly.
This is not just a job for someone who can follow directions, but for someone who is proactive, solution-oriented, and capable of anticipating the needs of the individual they are working with. The ability to work independently, with minimal supervision, and handle multiple tasks simultaneously is essential.

  • Preparing the car and handling the morning drivesErrands:
  • Run grocery, pharmacy, bank runs, and other miscellaneous errands
  • Pick up and drop off family membersHome Management:
  • Coordinate with cleaning staff, landscaping, snow removal and miscellaneous maintenance
  • Ensure groceries and supplies are up to date
  • Lay out supplements
  • Serving of refreshments and meals
  • Replace water in gym and night tables
  • Receiving the family as they arrive back home from school/work, light meal/beverage preparation, turn down service for all members presentTransportation:
  • Chauffeur family members
  • Arrange any travel bookings and pack/unpack luggage
  • Event Planning:
  • Organize social events and parties
  • Schedule Management:
  • Advise on upcoming appointments, meetings, and deadlines
  • Coordinate potential travel (dual residence and leisure travel)Miscellaneous:
  • Handling gifts
  • Research info/projects (gifts, profits, services)
  • Morning meeting and relaying of appointments for the day and the week, going over any phone notes given, running projects, deadlines that need to be met, current events, weather, etc)
  • Handle confidential matters privy to the employer with discretion and maintain the security of the employer’s personal data and information
  • Regularly interacting with owners to maintain direct communication and compliance with their needs
  • Experience of minimum five years as a Butler/Personal Assistant
  • Excellent time management
  • Ability to work independently
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize
  • Fluency in English and French (Dutch is a plus)
  • Familiarity with basic software programs and social media
  • Excellent organization and leadership skills
  • Good problem-solving skillsThe ideal candidate for this job should have professional attire that is adaptable to different situations. They should also be willing to drive and have a valid driver's license. The employer will provide a car for use and will cover the cost of the candidate's driving insurance. The candidate should be available for travel as needed and must be able to work flexible hours, with the start of the workday being in the morning and the end varying depending on the day's schedule.
