Our client, a distributor in the industry of industrial engines and other complementary industrial products are looking for a purchasing assitant. This tight-knit family enterprise is looking for someone who is ready to grow and become part of the family ! 

Responsibilities

 

  • Manage orders: processing, tracking and delivery
  • Reception of goods in our inventory software
  • Control, check and transfer the reception documents to our accounting department
  • Create parts inventory in the inventory system
  • Process requests from departments: price, availability and delivery time
  • Update databases: serial number, inventory surplus and consignment
  • Processing, documenting and cataloguing returns of goods (RMA)
  • Coordinate transportation and logistics with certain suppliers
  • Occasionally replace the person at the reception/shipping of the goods
  • Occasionally replace the department director
Qualifications
  • Relevant experience in the field of logistics and purchasing
  • Sense of organization and priorities
  • Good computer skills
  • Flexible
  • Strong adaptability
  • Reliable
  • Interpersonal communication skills
  • Bilingual
  • Very good knowledge of Excel
  • Knowledge of SAP software would be an asse
