Our client is searching for an engaging Social Media Specialist for Live Events, dedicated to transforming the excitement of events into compelling online content. Responsibilities
- Capture and distribute real-time content (photos, videos, stories) during peak periods and special occasions, showcasing the vibrant ambience of our establishments.
- Actively oversee posts across various social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, TikTok) to engage our audience and amplify our online presence.
- Develop and manage a content calendar to efficiently schedule posts regarding upcoming events, promotions, and noteworthy highlights.
- Engage with our online community by responding to comments and messages, fostering a welcoming and interactive virtual atmosphere.
- Use analytics to monitor social media performance, adjusting content strategies based on data insights as necessary.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to synchronize social media efforts with broader marketing goals and promotional campaigns.
- Stay abreast of the latest trends and tools in social media to continuously enhance our digital footprint.
Work Schedule: Tuesday-Saturday (Tuesday-Thursday: 6PM-midnight, Friday & Saturday: 6PM-1AM)
Qualifications
- A talent for storytelling and capturing captivating content in live settings.
- Proficiency across major social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, TikTok) and an understanding of maximizing engagement on each platform.
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to engage and expand our online community (fluent in English & French—both spoken and written).
- Flexibility to work varied hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, to cover key events and busy periods.
- A collaborative mindset with the capacity to work autonomously and contribute fresh, innovative ideas to the team.
- Familiarity with photo and video editing software is advantageous
